Ms. Simon

Ms. Brandy Simon is an inspiring English teacher at Southwest Public Schools, The Phoenix School, in Houston, Texas, where she teaches students in grades 6 through 12 at the TLW Transformation Center. Known for her calm presence, high expectations, and genuine care for her students, Ms. Simon has built a classroom where literature comes alive and where students are encouraged to think critically, speak confidently, and grow into themselves.

A proud Louisiana native, Ms. Simon brings a deep-rooted passion for education and a personal connection to her work. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education from McNeese State University and a Bachelor of Behavioral Science from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After earning her teaching certification through Teachers of Tomorrow, she went on to pursue her Master of Education to further strengthen her impact in the classroom.
